Payout is a platform for users to submit, view, process invoices for internal and external transactions. The platform also encourages the users to track and manage invoices, as well as receive updates.

In creating Payout* (name changed for reasons) I was the Product Designer, and took on the Product Owner role for the creation and launch of the application.
As the Product Owner on RTX Enterprise Product Team, I focused on streamlining the invoice processing process for an accounting team. My goal was to reduce the amount of time it takes to process an invoice, assign invoices to team member swiftly, enhance ownership of the invoices, and enable users to efficiently track invoices at a glance.
During this time, I was the sole Designer creating the landing page, invoice submission, approval queue, invoice details, payment status, e-mail notifications, as well as the setting and user management screens.
This application followed 2-week sprints using Agile principals and scrum. In the Product Owner role, I created Sprint Zero, I was responsible for translating user requirements into user stories, refining the backlog and prioritizing to the development team, I met with stakeholders weekly, as well as the user community. Ultimately this application helped saved 500 hours each month!
// REFLECTION
From this experience, undertaking a large enterprise-wide project was a new and enriching experience for me. Learning to advocate and empower the users I was building this product for. Usability testing in an application, that I proudly can say I *designed*. This not only challenged my managerial and interpersonal skills, but also allowed me to grow my leadership skills and take ownership of an application!
